Destiny Cards, Cardology, Magi Cards, each of these names is used to describe an ancient science that blends astrology, numbers and the deck of 52 'playing' cards. It's been around since ancient times, but only now becoming more well-known.

Gina Jones, a 'cardologer' with TheCardsofLife.com offered a peek into how this system works at the Conscious Life Expo in Los Angeles.

She used Rhonda Byrne, the author of "The Secret," the book based on the ancient law of attraction which topped best-seller lists a decade ago. Jones explains that Byrne had the 7 of Diamonds, also known as the 'millionaire's card,' in her cards the year she sold millions of books.

"It's the beauty of the cards," said Jones. "It shows you what's coming and when, so you can be.. in the universal flow."

Everyone has a card, known as their 'birth card,' which represents them for life. And, each year, will have a different set of cards which influence your life from one birthday to the next.

Jones founded Cardology.org, an association to bring those who study this ancient science together. In October, the public is invited to learn more about how the system works at the Cardology Conference at the Luxor Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.
